Overview: As the Assistant Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, ensuring efficient utilization of space, resources, and personnel to meet organizational objectives. Vendor Relations: Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to manage inbound and outbound shipments, resolve delivery discrepancies, and optimize transportation logistics. 9. Cost Management: Monitor warehouse expenses, such as manpower, equipment, and supplies and identify opportunities to reduce costs without compromising operational efficiency. 10. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance warehouse operations, increase efficiency, and reduce waste. Requirements: Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in a fast-paced distribution or logistics environment. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management principles, and logistics processes. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency. Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment. Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
