Store Executive

manages store inventory, including receiving, issuing, and verifying materials like spare parts, consumables, and civil/electrical items for the crusher plant and quarry

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory Management:

  Monitor stock levels, track materials, conduct cycle counts and full stock verification, and implement inventory control procedures.

• Material Handling:

  Receive, issue, and store materials such as spare parts, consumables, civil, electrical, and general store items.

• Procurement Coordination:

  Liaise with the purchase department to ensure timely delivery of materials and follow up on low-stock or over-stock items.

• Documentation:

  Prepare Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), material issue slips, and other required documentation for inventory transactions.

• Scrap Management:

  Coordinate the identification, management, and disposal of scrap, including non-moving materials, waste, and e-waste, in compliance with regulations.

• Audit & Reporting:

  Conduct regular stock audits and compile monthly/quarterly material consumption reports and other relevant data for management.

• System & Safety:

  Maintain the SAP or ERP system for assets and inventory, and ensure the physical storage and handling of materials adhere to safety standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Technical Proficiency:

  Experience with Inventory Management Systems (IMS) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, such as the SAP MM Module, is often preferred.

• Organizational Skills:

  Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail are crucial for managing large volumes of varied items.

• Coordination:

  The ability to coordinate effectively with production, purchase, and other internal departments.

• Problem-Solving:

  Competency in identifying and resolving issues related to inventory, materials, and store operations.

• Experience:

  Proven experience in stores management, preferably in a heavy industry or manufacturing environment like a stone crusher plant.

• Education:

  A background in engineering (Mechanical, Production) or Business Administration can be beneficial.
