Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Store Engineer with a strong background in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining construction materials, ensuring accurate stock levels, handling material receipts and issues, and coordinating with site engineers and procurement teams for smooth operations at the project site.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Maintain proper records of all materials received and issued at the site store.

Monitor daily stock levels and prepare material requirement reports.

Coordinate with the purchase department for timely material replenishment.

Conduct regular physical verification of stock and maintain inventory accuracy.

Ensure safe storage and proper stacking of construction materials (cement, steel, aggregates, tools, etc.).

Handle GRN (Goods Receipt Note), MRN (Material Receipt Note), and issue slips accurately.

Track inward and outward movement of materials and maintain supporting documents.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly store reports for management review.

Coordinate with project and site engineers for material requirements and consumption tracking.

Ensure materials are stored as per quality and safety standards.

Monitor returnable and non-returnable materials movement.

Maintain records of tools and equipment issued to site personnel.

Support internal and external audits related to store and inventory.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Qualification: Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Civil / Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Experience: 3–7 years in construction site store management.

Strong knowledge of construction materials and inventory control systems.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP or Store Management Software preferred.

Ability to work independently and handle multi-site material management.

Immediate joiners will be given preference.
