Job Title: Store cum Dispatch Officer

Department: Stores & Logistics
Location: Palghar
Reporting To: Store Manager

• Job Purpose:

To manage store inventory and ensure timely dispatch of finished goods and materials, maintaining proper documentation, compliance, and coordination with internal departments and external transporters.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Store Management

• Maintain accurate records of raw materials, packing materials, and consumables.
• Ensure proper receipt, stacking, and issuance of materials as per FIFO/FIFO.
• Monitor stock levels and raise purchase requisitions for reordering.
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
• Ensure safe and clean storage practices complying with safety standards.

2. Dispatch Coordination

• Plan and execute dispatches as per production and sales schedule.
• Prepare dispatch documents like invoices, e-way bills, delivery challans.
• Coordinate with transporters for vehicle placement and timely delivery.
• Ensure proper packaging and labeling before dispatch.
• Track shipments and update the status to sales/marketing/logistics teams.

3. Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain inward & outward registers and related GRNs, MRNs, and stock ledgers.
• Ensure adherence to GST, e-way bill, and other applicable statutory norms.
• Maintain daily MIS reports on stock movement and dispatches.

4. Coordination

• Work closely with production, quality, purchase, and accounts departments.
• Liaise with vendors and customers for smooth materials and product movement.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of inventory and dispatch procedures
• Familiarity with ERP or inventory software (e.g., Tally, SAP, or similar)
• Understanding of statutory requirements (e-way bill, GST, etc.)
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Attention to detail and record-keeping ability

Educational Qualification:

• Graduate (Any discipline) – B.Com/BBA preferred
• Diploma in Materials Management (added advantage)

Experience:

3 to 6 years in store and dispatch operations in manufacturing or industrial sector

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
