Store Assistant

J.K. CONSTRUCTION is a leading provider of quality road construction services in Uttar Pradesh. We are committed to excellence, safety, and timely project delivery. We are looking for an organized, reliable, and experienced Store Manager to oversee our central inventory of materials, tools, and heavy equipment parts.

The Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Store Manager to run our primary storage yard and warehouse. This role is responsible for the efficient, accurate, and secure management of all incoming and outgoing inventory, ensuring our field crews have the right resources exactly when they need them.

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory Control: Manage the receiving, inspection, storage, and issuance of road construction materials (e.g., aggregates, asphalt components, pipe), tools, and heavy equipment parts.

• Logistics: Coordinate deliveries and pickups with vendors, suppliers, and construction sites.

• Organization: Maintain a clean, safe, and highly organized store/yard environment, optimizing layout for quick retrieval.

• Documentation: Utilize inventory management software to maintain accurate, real-time records of stock levels, tool locations, and material consumption.

• Security: Implement and monitor security procedures to prevent loss, damage, or theft of high-value items and equipment.

• Team Leadership: Supervise and train store/yard staff (if applicable), fostering a safety-first and efficient work culture.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in store management, inventory control, or logistics, preferably within the construction, heavy equipment, or industrial supply sectors.

• Knowledge: Familiarity with common road construction materials, tools, and safety standards.

• Skills: Proficiency with inventory management systems and maintain records in ledger as well as in MS Excel. Excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift moderately heavy objects and work in a yard environment (requires standing, walking, and being exposed to weather conditions).

• Certification: Valid driver’s license; forklift certification or ability to obtain one is a plus.

Job Location: Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.

Salary: Rs. 25,000/- to Rs. 35,000/- depending upon experience along-with he will be provided with accommodation and fooding as per industry norms.

Interview and Hiring Date: Interview by 3rd December and Hiring by 4th December (urgent requirement).

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
