Job Description

The Stores Assistant is an entry-level position responsible for assisting in the management of stock, raw materials, consumables and ensuring smooth store operations. This role involves physical handling , documentation and organization of stock. The stores assistant will work closely with senior staff to support inventory control and record-keeping processes. Key Responsibilities : Receiving stock from suppliers, storing and issuing materials to production teams. Recording stock movements and maintenance of proper documentation. Physical Inspection of stock received for quantity, quality and fit as required. Conducting cyclic physical counts and checks of entire stock. Assisting stores incharge in making sure materials and tools are readily available for smooth production issue. Maintaining a clean, safe, organized and easy to use stores area. Education : Degree, Diploma or Minimum of Intermediate. Additional certifications in inventory management or fabrication industry knowledge is a plus. Skills : Languages : Must know Telugu, Hindi and English. Should be able to speak, read and write to interact with team members and other departments. Knowledge : Ability to identify the materials prevalent in the industry. Physical Stamina : Comfortable with moving materials in moderately active environment. Attention to Detail : Ability to quickly identify and address stock issues in the store. Experience : 1-2 years of experience in storekeeping in line of fabrication.
