Store Assistant

We are looking for a diligent and organized Store Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the store, including material handling, record maintenance, and documentation. You should have strong knowledge of Tally and MS Office and be adept at managing inventory efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: Handle the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials. Ensure accurate stock levels and conduct regular physical verification of inventory.
• Documentation: Generate Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) for incoming materials and Delivery Challans (DC) for outgoing materials. Maintain meticulous records of all transactions.
• Record Keeping: Utilize Tally to update inventory records, process invoices, and maintain financial data related to stock.
• Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on stock movement, consumption, and discrepancies using MS Office tools, especially Excel.
• Material Handling: Safely and efficiently handle materials, ensuring proper storage and easy retrieval.
• Coordination: Work closely with the procurement, logistics, and project teams to ensure smooth material flow.
• Compliance: Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures for material handling and store management.

Qualifications

• Experience: Proven experience in a store or warehouse environment.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in Tally for inventory and financial management.
• Strong command of MS Office, particularly Excel, for data entry and reporting.
• Personal Attributes:
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills.
