About The Role: Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd. is seeking a Store Assistant to oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of engineering materials and spares. The role involves maintaining quality compliance, record-keeping, and coordinating material movement for maintenance and projects. Key Responsibilities: - Receive, inspect, and verify engineering materials and spares. - Ensure proper storage, preservation, and documentation. - Issue materials to engineering and maintenance teams accurately. - Conduct periodic physical inventory checks. - Coordinate material movement for shutdowns and projects. - Ensure compliance with PPE, safety, and environmental standards. Requirements: Education: - B.A./B.Sc./B.Com with 5 years of experience OR - Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with 2-3 years of experience. Preferred Experience: Candidates with experience in oil & gas, refinery, and petrochemical industries will be given preference. Skills: - Basic computer knowledge (MS Office). - Understanding of stores accounting.
