Job Description

Role Summary

We are looking for a Store Assistant to manage construction materials and inventory at a civil project site. The candidate will be responsible for handling stock, issuing materials, maintaining records, and supporting the site team in daily operations.

Key Responsible

Receive and inspect construction materials delivered to site
Maintain accurate records of inward and outward stock
Issue materials as per requirements of site engineers or supervisors
Monitor inventory levels and report shortages
Organize and label materials properly in the store area
Assist in stock audits and physical verification
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the store
Coordinate with procurement team and vendors for deliveries

Requirements

Minimum qualification: 12th pass; diploma in civil/storekeeping preferred
1–2 years of experience in storekeeping at a civil site
Knowledge of construction materials like cement, steel, aggregates, etc.
Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel) or manual register maintenance
Ability to work independently and handle physical materials
Honest, reliable, and punctual
