We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Storage Operations Engineer to join our team at Barclaycard Payments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in storage operations and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Roles and Responsibility

Design, implement, and manage storage infrastructure to meet business requirements.
Ensure high availability and performance of storage systems through monitoring and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
Develop and maintain documentation of storage systems and procedures.
Implement data backup and recovery strategies to ensure business continuity.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex storage-related issues efficiently.

Job Requirements

Strong knowledge of storage technologies and protocols such as NAS, SAN, and cloud storage.
Experience with storage management tools like NetApp, Brocade, and EMC.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex issues.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with technical and non-technical teams.
Ability to work in a 24/7 environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Strong understanding of ITIL processes and methodologies.
