Job Description

Designation: Storage and Backup Engineer L2

Linux Experience Must

Roles & Responsibilities

Backup of operating system, database, and application as per stipulated policies.
Monitoring and enhancement of the performance of scheduled backups, schedule regular
testing of backups and ensure adherence to related retention policies.
Ensuring prompt execution of on‐demand backups of volumes, files and database applications whenever required.
Realtime monitoring, log maintenance and reporting of backup status on a regular basis. Prompt problem resolution in case of failures in the backup processes.
Media management including, but not limited to, tagging, cross‐referencing, storing, Retrieving, archival logging, testing, and vaulting in fireproof cabinets.

Desired Qualification:

BE/B.Tech/MCA in computer science/ IT
5+ years of Post Qualification experience
3+ years of experience in NAS/ SAN or TMS backup environment
Linux server experience is must

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
