Essential Job Functions Manage complete lifecycle for data protection services infrastructure Backup & Recovery, Datacenter Architecture Designs Solutions, Implementations, Migrations.
Manage Backup and Recovery, Datacenter Architecture Designs Solutions, Implementations, Migrations as per Project requirements Installation, Configuration & Upgradation of backup software and hardware to protect customer data.
Experience on Backup software technology, Expertise in VERITAS NETBACKUP, COHESITY, VMWARE, Amazon web services, and Microsoft Azure.
Experience on Data domain/Symantec Pure Disk Appliances and VTL tape libraries
Experience on Server application backup, Unix Systems Engineering & Administration.
Manage and troubleshoot the APPLICATION backups and restores; doing the refresh activity with the help of application team; applications as ORACLE, MS-SQL, MY SQL, MS-EXCHANGE, VMWARE and NDMP.
Experience in MS-Azure, EMC Storage, VMWare and Nutanix Hyper-Converged platform Administration
Possess scripting knowledge to automate some of the processes that are repeated.
Automate backup and recovery solutions either scripting or making use of third party applications
Troubleshoot Backup & Replication, SLP backlogs, Disk, RAID, and PSU failures Basic
Should be well verse with ITIL, ITSM process such as Incident management, Change Management and Problem/Configuration Manage
