Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor IBM Storage systems (such as IBM FlashSystem, IBM Storwize, IBM DS Series, etc.)
• Perform health checks and ensure storage availability and performance
• Assist with basic provisioning tasks (LUN creation, mapping, zoning coordination)
• Monitor storage capacity, utilization, and performance metrics
• Perform initial troubleshooting of storage-related alerts and escalate as necessary
• Coordinate with L2/L3 teams for complex issues
• Maintain documentation of storage configurations and activities
• Support backup operations related to storage as per SOPs
• Provide support during planned maintenance and change implementations

Required Skills:

• Basic understanding of IBM Storage systems (FlashSystem, Storwize, DS Series)
• Familiarity with SAN/NAS environments
• Knowledge of storage concepts like LUNs, RAID levels, zoning, masking
• Exposure to tools like IBM Storage Insights, Spectrum Control is a plus
• Basic knowledge of backup technologies and disaster recovery
• Ability to follow SOPs and incident management processes
• Willingness to work in a 24x7 support environment
