Stock Controller

You will be responsible for managing and maintaining the inventory at all counters, which includes overseeing store transfers, returns, and sales to customers. This involves conducting perpetual stock audits to ensure accuracy, identifying discrepancies, and implementing process changes to prevent reoccurrence. Additionally, you will perform random stock checks and audits, coordinate with the Store Operations team for new stock requirements, and escalate issues to the Retail Operations Manager when necessary. Your role will also involve identifying and returning obsolete or damaged stock, implementing loss prevention strategies, and ensuring that all stock storage areas are organized and accessible for the counter front-end teams. You will be tasked with motivating and training the counter front-end team to follow good inventory practices. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for this role include monitoring shortages in external stock audits as a percentage of counter sales and tracking the number of trainings provided to the counter front-end team. Therefore, strong analytical skills are essential for interpreting data and making informed decisions. Proficiency in system skills to understand inventory processes in the ERP system and extract stock reports is crucial. Effective communication skills are also required to collaborate with other departments and provide training to the counter front-end team. The ideal candidate will be a graduate with 3-4 years of experience in a similar role or in retail operations on the front-end.
