Job Description

About the Role

We’re looking for a dynamic, hands-on STEM & Design Thinking Educator who can inspire students through a maker-centered, project-based learning environment. This role is perfect for someone who blends curiosity, creativity, and technical expertise — and is passionate about helping children turn ideas into real-world innovations.

You’ll lead sessions in our well-equipped Innovation Labs, delivering engaging lessons across age groups using principles of STEAM, design thinking, and experiential learning. Your work will help build 21st-century skills like critical thinking, collaboration, resilience, and creativity in our students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate high-impact, hands-on learning experiences using tools such as 3D printers, electronics kits, robotics platforms, and basic woodworking tools.
  • Design and deliver interdisciplinary STEM lessons across grades, in collaboration with other faculty.
  • Manage and maintain two in-school Maker Labs (Primary & Secondary), ensuring student safety and material readiness.
  • Lead student-driven projects, innovation showcases, and maker exhibitions.
  • Organize workshops for parents and contribute to the school’s parent engagement calendar.
  • Work closely with academic teams to integrate maker projects with subjects like science, math, arts, and humanities.
  • Collaborate with external maker/innovation teams to enhance lab setup, curriculum, and teacher development.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Engineering (Electronics or Computer Science preferred), Design, Architecture, Liberal Arts (interdisciplinary combinations welcome).
  • Experience: Prior experience in a makerspace, innovation lab, or hands-on STEM education environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of design thinking and a passion for experiential learning.
  • Comfortable with tools, technology, and teaching in an unstructured, creative environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to connect with children.

Why Join Us

  • Be part of a forward-thinking learning environment that values curiosity over conformity.
  • Build and own a program that’s at the cutting edge of school innovation.
  • Work with passionate educators who believe in joyful, meaningful learning.
  • Shape the next generation of creators, problem-solvers, and changemakers
