Startup Correspondent & Content Creator

Deccan Founders is on a mission to spotlight the most inspiring and untold startup stories from South India. We are seeking a passionate Startup Correspondent & Content Creator who enjoys engaging with entrepreneurs, exploring incubators, and uncovering emerging trends in the startup ecosystem. In this role, your responsibilities will include visiting founders, accelerators, and tech hubs across the region to conduct on-camera interviews and capture authentic startup journeys. You will be tasked with creating engaging short-form videos, articles, and reels for social media, as well as identifying trends and uncovering stories that are relevant to the ecosystem. Additionally, you will represent Deccan Founders at various events, pitch days, and launches. The ideal candidate for this position should possess strong communication and storytelling skills, feel comfortable in front of the camera, maintain a curious mindset with a passion for startups and innovation, be willing to travel within the region, and have basic knowledge of video shooting/editing or a willingness to learn. This is a full-time position that requires working from the office (WFO) in Hyderabad.
