Role Overview: We’re looking for a creative and motivated Video Editor who’s eager to push the boundaries of content creation using AI tools. From traditional editing to experimenting with avatar-based videos and AI-enhanced storytelling, you’ll play a key role in how we visually communicate stories about startups and innovation in the region. Key Responsibilities: Video Editing: Edit short-form and long-form videos for YouTube, Instagram, and web, ensuring high visual quality and strong storytelling. AI Video Creation: Use tools like Runway ML, HeyGen, Synthesia , or Pika Labs to create avatar-driven and AI-enhanced videos. Creative Scripting & Assembly: Work with the content and editorial team to align visuals with the script and overall story arc. Adapt to Trends: Stay updated with the latest content trends, video styles, and AI tools in the market. Fast Turnaround: Deliver edited videos under tight deadlines while maintaining quality and consistency. Experiment & Innovate: Be willing to test out new formats, styles, and tools to find better ways of engaging audiences. Requirements: 3 months to 2 years of hands-on video editing experience Proficiency with tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut , or similar Willingness to learn and use AI tools for video generation (e.g. Runway ML, HeyGen, Pika, Synthesia, etc.) Creativity, attention to detail, and a solid sense of visual storytelling Ability to work full-time from our Hyderabad office (Work From Office is mandatory) Immediate joiners preferred Bonus If You Have: Prior experience with avatar-based or AI-generated video workflows Knowledge of motion graphics or animation A portfolio showcasing modern, fast-paced editing for digital platforms Why Join Deccan Founders?
