Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Strong knowledge in sheet metal Draw development, 3D & 2D Process development / Method planning. Simulation & Die Design knowledge would be an add-on.
As per Program scale each gateway candidate needs to deliver multiple CAD iteration of the following activities as per standards and SPLs guidelines in NX CAD.
NX Die Engineering -
Draw/Surface development

(In depth & hands on - Master)
Must have parametric CAD knowledge (Tandem & transfer lines)
NX Die Planning -
3D Process development

(In depth & hands on - Master)
Capable of designing Std/non std cam drives suitable for the process (Mechanical, rotary etc,.)
Feasibility Simulation - NC Model development (Basic knowledge - Seed)
NX Die Structure Design - Die design (Basic knowledge - Seed)
Should have hands on experience on designing Die face, 3D Process development on Class A & B Stamping panels using NX.

(Hood outer / Inner, Lift/Tail gate outer/Inner, Door outer s/Inners, Body side outer, Rear Floor, Front floor, Wheelhouse inner, Dash panel, Body side inner, Sunroof & Fender)

Advanced level Sheet metal Cad designing (Draw dev & Die Process) knowledge skills (NX)
Feasibility simulation basis level knowledge would be an add-on (Autoform)
