Staff/Sr Staff Engineer

Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking a Hardware Engineer to join the Engineering Group, specifically in the Hardware Engineering department. As a Qualcomm Hardware Engineer, you will be at the forefront of technology innovation, contributing to the development of cutting-edge products that drive digital transformation and enable next-generation experiences. Your responsibilities will include planning, designing, optimizing, verifying, and testing electronic systems, circuits, mechanical systems, Digital/Analog/RF/optical systems, equipment and packaging, test systems, FPGA, and/or DSP systems. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or a related field. Depending on your level of education, you are required to have a minimum of 2 to 4 years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience. In addition, you should have hands-on experience in Floorplanning, PNR, and STA flows, as well as knowledge in Placement/Clock Tree Synthesis (CTS), signoff domains, Unix/Linux, Perl, and TCL scripting. As a Hardware Engineer at Qualcomm, your primary duties will involve owning the Physical Design and Signoff implementation, including Floorplanning, Placement, CTS, and post-route activities on the latest technology nodes. You will also need to demonstrate proficiency in STA, Power analysis, low power verification, and other related tasks. A key qualification for this role is having at least 8 years of Hardware Engineering experience, with a focus on PNR flow in the latest technology nodes such as 4nm/5nm/7nm.
