Job Description

A Staff Trainer in hotels and restaurants designs, delivers, and evaluates training programs to improve staff performance in areas like guest service, food & beverage operations, and hygiene. Key duties include creating training materials, conducting workshops and demonstrations, coaching employees on skills and procedures, and ensuring adherence to industry and brand standards. The goal is to enhance service quality, boost operational efficiency, and ensure staff are industry-ready. Key Responsibilities

  • Program Development:Design and develop training modules and materials, including operations manuals and presentations, aligned with company goals and industry best practices.
  • Training Delivery:Conduct workshops, hands-on training, and role-play sessions to impart knowledge and skills in specific areas.
  • Skill Coaching:Train staff on menu knowledge, table service techniques, order-taking, guest interaction, complaint handling, and other essential skills.
  • Hygiene & Safety:Ensure staff are proficient in food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
  • Performance Evaluation:Assess employee performance through tests, assignments, practical evaluations, and feedback to identify skill gaps.
  • Mentoring & Support:Provide personalized guidance and support to employees, helping to build their confidence and improve skills.
  • Standard Adherence:Ensure employees understand and consistently implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain high service and quality standards.
  • Trend Monitoring:Stay informed about the latest trends in the hospitality industry and incorporate them into training programs.
  • Record Keeping:Maintain accurate training records and prepare reports on program effectiveness and employee progress.

Essential Skills and Attributes

  • Strong knowledge of hospitality operations, particularly in food & beverage and guest service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective training and coaching.
  • Ability to identify and address skill gaps.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles.
  • Ability to adapt training methods and materials to different learning needs.
  • Commitment to high customer satisfaction and excellent service standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
