Job Description

Role Overview: As a staff engineer at R1 RCM India, you will be part of the development team where you will apply your expert technical knowledge, broad understanding of software engineering best practices, problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and creativity to build and maintain software products that align with technical, business, and customer experience goals. You will collaborate with different stakeholders to achieve business and software engineering objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Estimate and develop scalable solutions using .Net technologies, specifically in C#, ASP.net Core, and Web API, within a highly collaborative agile environment. - Maintain relevant documentation around the solutions developed. - Conduct code reviews and ensure that SOLID principles and standard design patterns are applied to system architectures and implementations. - Evaluate, understand, and recommend new technologies, languages, or development practices that offer benefits for implementation. - Collaborate with Agile practitioners to support the team in delivering their sprint commitments without distractions. - Drive the adoption of modern engineering practices such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Code Reviews, TDD, Test Automation, and Performance Engineering to deliver high-quality software. - Foster a culture of continuous learning and agility across levels and geographies using transparency, inspection, and adaptation. - Mentor other members of the development team and lead sessions with scrum team members to structure solution source code and design implementation approaches that follow engineering best practices. Qualifications Required: - B.E/B. Tech/MCA or equivalent professional degree. - 5-8 years of experience in designing and developing n-tier Web applications using .Net Framework, .Net Core, ASP.Net, WCF, C#, MVC 4/5, RESTful API Services, Web API, and JSON. - Proficiency in C#, modern UI technologies, and database/ORM technologies. - Solid understanding of modern architectural and design patterns. - Comprehensive knowledge of automation testing and modern testing practices such as TDD and BDD. - Strong exposure to CI & CD implementation using tools like Jenkins and Docker containerization. - Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence decisions. - Knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle management, HL7, EMR systems, HIPAA, FHIR preferred. - Good to have knowledge of Azure Cloud. - Understanding of application architecture concepts like microservices, Domain-Driven Design, event-driven architecture, CQRS, and SOA preferred.
