Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development and maintenance of robust, scalable, and efficient test automation frameworks and tools.
Collaborate with product, engineering, and QA teams to define test strategies, quality goals, and test plans.
Design, implement, and execute automated tests for functional, performance, integration, security, and API layers.
Identify gaps in existing test coverage and build solutions to increase test efficiency and effectiveness.
Mentor and guide junior and mid-level test engineers in coding, test design, and best practices.
Integrate testing tools with CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing and faster release cycles.
Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and work closely with developers to identify root causes.
Drive improvements in test coverage, reliability, and maintainability by advocating for test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD) approaches.
Participate in architecture and design reviews to ensure quality considerations are embedded early in the development lifecycle.
Advocate for automation-first testing while balancing manual exploratory testing where needed.
Maintain documentation of test plans, test cases, scripts, and frameworks to ensure repeatability and compliance.
