Job Description

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in critical care, emergency, operating theater (OT), general wards, and cath lab settings.

Monitor patient vitals, administer medication, and manage patient care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Assess and document patient responses to treatments, reporting any changes to the attending physician promptly.

Assist in emergency situations by performing life

saving procedures and ensuring the efficient operation of emergency equipment.

Prepare and maintain sterile fields for surgical procedures and assist surgeons during operations.

Educate patients and their families about ongoing healthcare needs, treatments, and procedures.

Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient records in accordance with hospital policies.

Participate in continuous professional development and training programs to stay current with nursing practices and technologies.

Required Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) license with active registration.

Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting, specifically in critical care, emergency, OT, wards, or cath lab.

Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient care and teamwork.

Ability to remain calm and efficient in high

pressure situations.
