Job Description

Patient Care and Monitoring: Assessing patients' conditions and vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure). Administering medications and treatments as prescribed. Providing wound care, including dressing changes and managing pressure ulcers. Assisting with personal hygiene and mobility. Monitoring patients for changes in condition and reporting any abnormalities. Providing emotional support to patients and their families. Collaboration and Communication: Working with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans. Communicating with patients and their families about care plans, medications, and health education. Documenting patient care and maintaining accurate records. Education and Advocacy: Educating patients and their families about their conditions, medications, and preventative care. Advocating for patients' needs and ensuring they receive appropriate care. Supervision and Training: Supervising and mentoring junior nurses and student nurses. Ensuring adherence to safety and infection control protocols. Skills and Qualifications: Nursing Degree or Diploma: Completion of a recognized nursing program. Registered Nurse (RN) License: Possession of a valid and current nursing license. Clinical Skills: Proficiency in administering medications, wound care, and other nursing procedures. Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals. Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving: Ability to assess situations, make sound judgments, and solve problems effectively. Compassion and Empathy: A caring and compassionate nature is essential for providing patient-centered care. Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
