Staff Nurse

Role Overview: As a Staff Nurse at our facility located on Ferozepur Road, Ludhiana, you will be responsible for delivering patient care by implementing prescribed medication and monitoring its effects. You will provide nursing care to patients based on established clinical practice standards, collaborate with other disciplines for effective patient care delivery, and actively participate in quality improvement programs. Additionally, you will maintain positive interpersonal relations with subordinates and seniors, promote a safe environment, perform patient assessments, manage inventory, provide pre and post-operative care, offer health education to patients, and supervise IV Class staff for routine patient care tasks. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure delivery of patient care through implementation of prescribed medication and monitoring effects - Provide nursing care to patients based on established clinical practice standards - Collaborate with other disciplines for effective and efficient patient care delivery - Participate in programs for quality improvement in nursing practices - Maintain positive interpersonal relations with subordinates and seniors - Promote a safe environment for patients, visitors, and coworkers - Perform initial and reassessment of patients within defined time frames - Check daily inventory of Medicines and Other Equipments - Provide Pre and Post-operative care to inpatients as per protocols - Provide health education to patients as required - Instruct IV Class staff for routine patient care tasks and biomedical waste management - Prioritize emergency cases and coordinate with consultants or respective departments - Maintain appropriate departmental documentation - Treat all communication about patients, staff, and organizational business confidentially - Be involved in quality assurance and quality control activities - Perform any assigned tasks due to exigencies of work - Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives Qualification Required: - Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) or B.Sc.
