Staff Nurse

· Performs the nursing assessment of patient, identifies the problems and implements nursing care effectively, skillfully and evaluates

· Performs admission procedure, transfer and discharge according to the hospital policies.

· Administers medications & IV fluids as per orders using the scientific technique with adequate knowledge of the action, dose and side effects of drugs.

· Assists the physician in performing various medical procedures therapeutically needed for the patient.

· Performs independent nursing procedures prescribed for the patient as a part of his therapy

· Performs independent nursing procedures needed for the patient as preventive/interventional/rehabilitative measure.

· Carries out all procedures as per the infection control protocol

· Assists in carrying out diagnostic test and therapeutic procedures.

· Conducts handing over and taking over of each patient in each shift.

· Maintains all records and reports accurately and on time.

· Uses resources effectively and is cost effective.

· Is able to perform all nursing functions in any shift as per the staffing rotation

· Is able to meet the hygienic, nutrition and elimination needs of the patient

· Is able to maintain an aesthetic patients unit at all the times

· Is able to perform basic functions in specific areas of the hospital like critical care unit / AKD / OT / OPD etc.

· Communicates effectively & maintains cordial professional relationship with other members of health team

· She abides by the rules, regulations & policies established by the hospital.

· Is able to liaise with other departments like pharmacy, radiology, CSSD, OT, etc for patient care issues.

· Educates the patient, relatives or her peers as per the need.

· Supervises the activities of housekeeping, clerical and other staff when needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹26,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
