Staff Nurse - Operation Theatre

The job involves performing a range of duties in the operating room before, during, and after surgical procedures. As part of the pre-operative duties, you will be responsible for preparing the operating room, checking equipment, and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. During the surgery, you will assist the surgical team as needed and help maintain a sterile environment. Following the surgery, post-operative duties include cleaning and restocking the operating room, as well as documenting the procedure and patient condition. Additionally, you will be expected to participate in professional development activities to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field. As part of quality improvement efforts, you will need to participate in audits and contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care and outcomes. Ensuring safety and compliance with regulations and protocols is also a key aspect of the role. This is a full-time position with a rotational shift schedule. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in an operating room setting. The work location is in person, requiring your presence in the operating room during surgical procedures.,
