Job Description

Job Purpose:

Demonstrates knowledge and skill in caring for the patient with the understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity. Provides nursing careutilizing the nursing processfor all day care patients.

Job Responsibilities:

PATIENT CARE

Admissiondischarge & transfer of patients.
Data collection.
Assessment of patients regularly.
Physical examination & diagnostic evaluation.
Continuous monitoring of patient.
Following physical round & carrying out the order prescribed.
Sending sample for diagnostic evaluations per requirement.
Coordinating diagnostic & therapeutic procedure.
Planning & implementation of patient care includes hygiene & nutrition & elimination need.
Administering medication as prescribed.
Providing comfort measures.
Ensure all patient care activities are carried out as per sop
Giving health education to significant other
Maintaining records & reports as per patient requirement
Maintaining safety of the patients.
Writing nursing care plan for the allocated patient.
Maintaining Records of unit (communicate BKLeave DKlog bk ).
Maintaining unit cleanliness.
Maintaining department inventory.
Maintain CSSD transaction.
Making rounds with doctors & senior nursing personnel.
Preparing Patients for transfer and discharge.
Observing the patient condition and taking prompt action.
Recording & reporting patient condition as & when required..
Participating in clinical teaching program.
Attending in-service class regularly.
Participate in audits.
