Job Summary:

The Staff Nurse will be responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients, ensuring adherence to hospital protocols, maintaining patient safety, and supporting doctors and senior nursing staff in all clinical activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to assigned patients as per prescribed medical plans.
  
• Monitor and record patients vital signs, symptoms, and progress.
  
• Administer medications, injections, and IV fluids accurately and on time.
  
• Assist doctors during rounds and medical procedures.
  
• Maintain cleanliness, infection control, and hygiene standards in patient care areas.
  
• Prepare and maintain patient records, charts, and reports.
  
• Educate patients and families on post-treatment care and recovery.
  
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and follow emergency protocols.
  
• Ensure proper handling and maintenance of medical equipment.
  
• Coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure smooth workflow in the unit.
  

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education:

  GNM / B.Sc. Nursing / M.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.

• Registration:

  Valid registration with the Delhi Nursing Council (DNC).

• Experience:

  0–3 years (Freshers may also apply; experience in a reputed hospital preferred).

Skills & Competencies:

• Excellent patient care and observation skills.
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  
• Knowledge of hospital safety and infection control protocols.
  
• Ability to work in a team and handle stressful situations calmly.
  
• Proficiency in documentation and basic computer skills.
