Job Description

The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and professional standards. The nurse collaborates with healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being, safety, and comfort of patients. Key Responsibilities: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans. Monitor patients’ health conditions and report changes to physicians or nurse supervisors. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Assist in diagnostic tests and operate medical equipment as needed. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation. Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and families. Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety guidelines. Respond to emergencies and assist in critical care situations. Supervise and support nursing aides or junior staff as necessary. Participate in staff meetings, training, and quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications & Requirements ANM /GNM or B.Sc. in Nursing from a recognized institution.
