Assessment: Assessing patient's physical and mental health, including vital signs, pain levels, and any changes in condition. Medication Administration: Administering prescribed medications, intravenous fluids, and other treatments. Wound Care: Applying dressings, managing wounds, and providing post-operative care. Hygiene and Comfort: Assisting with bathing, dressing, and other hygiene needs to ensure patient comfort and well-being. Nutrition: Assisting with feeding and managing dietary needs, including special diets and intravenous nutrition. Mobility and Rehabilitation: Assisting patients with ambulation, transfers, and other mobility needs, and providing guidance for rehabilitation. Health Education: Providing patients and their families with information about their health conditions, medications, and treatment plans. Disease Prevention: Educating patients on preventive measures and healthy lifestyle choices. Emotional Support: Offering emotional support and encouragement to patients and their families during difficult times. Interprofessional Teamwork: Collaborating with physicians, other nurses, therapists, and social workers to ensure comprehensive patient care. Communication: Communicating with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals about patient status, progress, and concerns. Documentation: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, including vital signs, medications administered, and progress notes.
