Staff Nurse for Homecare

As a caregiver in this role, you will be responsible for providing various levels of care and assistance to patients in a home healthcare setting. Your duties will include sponging/bathing patients, grooming, assisting with toileting, feeding, monitoring vital signs, assisting with mobility, ensuring cleanliness, and providing emotional support. You will also administer medications, perform nebulization, and monitor BP/sugar levels as needed. As you progress to intermediate and advanced levels of care, you will be expected to handle more complex tasks such as RT feeding, administering medications like oxygen and insulin, and managing specialized care including oxygen therapy and tracheostomy care. Your qualifications should include a degree in nursing and 1-2 years of experience in home healthcare, along with relevant certifications and licenses. To excel in this role, you must have a strong knowledge of infection control protocols, proficiency in using medical equipment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
