Job Description

Job Title: Staff Nurse Job Summary: The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in accordance with hospital policies, nursing standards, and professional practices. The role includes patient assessment, care planning, medication administration, monitoring vital signs, assisting doctors, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining accurate documentation. --- Key Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care including monitoring, recording, and reporting symptoms or changes in patients' conditions. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and surgeries. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records. Educate patients and families on health care, post-treatment care, and medication management. Ensure infection control practices are followed at all times. Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide first aid/CPR when required. Monitor and operate medical equipment. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care. Uphold hospital policies, professional standards, and code of ethics. --- Qualifications & Requirements: Education: Diploma/GNM/B.Sc. in Nursing from a recognized institution. Registration: Valid Nursing Council registration. Experience: Fresher or prior experience in clinical/hospital setting preferred. Skills: Strong clinical and patient care skills. Knowledge of nursing protocols and procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team and handle stressful situations. Compassionate, patient-centered approach.
