Staff Nurse

To enhance our clinical team, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our Vyttila branch. Job Responsibilities: Provide professional nursing care to patients in the diagnostic centre, ensuring high standards of care. Assist in patient preparation and support during diagnostic tests, procedures, and treatments. Administer medications and injections as prescribed by the physician. Monitor and record patients' vitals, conditions, and reactions to treatments. Ensure proper infection control and hygiene standards are maintained in the clinic. Assist physicians and radiologists during diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound, MRI, and CT scans. Provide post-procedure care and patient education on follow-up instructions and home care. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and diagnostic services. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient needs are met efficiently. Handle emergency situations and administer first aid or basic life support as needed. Qualifications & Skills: Educational Qualification: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing/GNM). Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a hospital or healthcare setting; prior experience in a diagnostic centre is an added advantage. Licensure: Must be registered with the Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council. Strong knowledge of nursing procedures, patient care, and diagnostic protocols. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and medical staff. Ability to handle emergency situations and deliver patient care with compassion and patience. Basic computer skills and familiarity with healthcare software are preferred.
