Staff Engineer-Structural Transmission

As a Staff Engineer-Structural Transmission at Black & Veatch in Pune, you will function as a technical specialist or in a lead role with minimal supervision. You will apply advanced engineering techniques and analyses, develop concepts, and approach complex engineering problems. Your key responsibilities will include: - Providing technical guidance on design guides, standards, systems, engineering codes, and B&V policies - Independently applying knowledge and ensuring compliance with B&V quality program - Preparing complex engineering deliverables for larger projects and performing complex research - Managing budget, schedule, and quality requirements, and reviewing lower level engineering work - Actively coordinating with internal/external team members on moderately complex projects - Assisting with identification of key client interests and drivers on projects - Recognized as a technical specialist providing consultation and guidance to project teams - Assisting with performance management, mentoring, recognition, and career planning - Responsible for administrative responsibilities such as ensuring policies are effectively implemented, adhering to corporate programs, and approving timesheets and expense reports - May have accountability for resource management strategy Qualifications required for this role include a bachelor's degree in engineering and a minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
