Description
You will be working as a Staff Engineer-Structural Transmission in the CPL-BVOPS-ENGR & DEV SVCS business unit sector at Black & Veatch, located in Pune, India. As a technical specialist, you will be applying advanced engineering techniques and analyses with minimal supervision. Your key responsibilities will include: - Providing technical guidance on design guides, standards, systems, applicable engineering codes, and B&V policies - Applying knowledge and complying with B&V quality program for assigned tasks - Preparing complex engineering deliverables, performing research, and making recommendations for equipment/materials selection - Managing budget, schedule, and quality requirements, and delegating tasks to lower-level team members - Coordinating with internal/external team members on projects - Assisting in identifying client interests and drivers on projects, communicating these to the project team, and providing support to business development activities - Acting as a technical specialist, providing consultation and guidance to project teams, and fostering knowledge management and mentoring - Participating in performance management, career planning, learning and development, and mentoring lower-level professionals You will also be responsible for administrative tasks such as implementing policies, procedures, and processes for the work group, ensuring adherence to corporate and division programs, and approving timesheets and expense reports. Minimum qualifications for this role include a bachelor's degree in engineering from a recognized accredited program and a minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
