Job Description

You will be joining Qualcomms in-house Snapdragon Game Studio as a Level Designer. Your main responsibility will be to create game levels and shape gameplay experiences using Unreal Engine and/or Unity. You will collaborate with various teams to develop levels from concept to playable prototypes, ensuring polished, narrative-driven experiences to AAA standards. Your key responsibilities will include: - Minimum 8+ years of experience in Game Development with a significant portion as a Level Designer - Shipped a project from start to finish as a Level Designer - Experience working in Unreal Engine 5 and using Blueprints - Excellent sense of 3D game space and environmental storytelling - Excellent communication and documentation skills - Self-motivated, able to envision and implement level improvements autonomously - Ability to design, conceptualize, and create playable 3D game levels using level editors or game engines - Strengths in another core discipline such as environment art, animation, or engineering Preferred qualifications include: - Building engaging and visually compelling blockouts for levels - Collaborating with other designers to ensure consistency and quality of content - Conceptualizing and prototyping the layout of 3D game environments - Providing constructive feedback to fellow designers - Owning the quality, functionality, and stability of your level throughout its lifecycle - Collaborating with various teams to implement content into the game - Prioritizing time effectively to meet deadlines - Staying up to date on current trends and technologies in the field Minimum qualifications required for this role are: - Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Design Graphics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of relevant experience - OR Associate's degree in Fine Arts, Design Graphics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience - OR High School diploma or equivalent with 7+ years of relevant experience About the Company: Qualcomm Game Studios is passionate about next-generation gaming technologies and delivering exceptional gaming experiences.
