As a Software Development Lead at Nucleus Software, your key responsibilities will include providing technical leadership and guidance to engineers in analyzing requirements, system flows, and data needs to develop efficient software solutions. You will oversee the analysis of customization requirements based on client feedback, lead development efforts, collaborate with software engineers, review updated software, and ensure successful implementation based on testing results. You will also play a crucial role in leading application enhancement initiatives, guiding technical teams in risk assessment and issue resolution. In terms of technical support and collaboration, you will provide ongoing maintenance, debugging, and enhancement support for existing platforms. You will lead troubleshooting efforts for complex modules and ensure accurate technical documentation in collaboration with the documentation team. Furthermore, you will facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions, provide training on software development standards, coding best practices, and technical excellence. You will also assist in pre-sales activities, including feasibility studies, customization estimations, and technical consultations. Requirements for this role include 6-8+ years of experience in software development, proficiency in Java/J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, Oracle, WebLogic, JBOSS, jQuery, and Ajax. Strong problem-solving skills, analytical abilities, and attention to detail are essential. Knowledge of application architecture, system design, software development methodologies, Agile/Scrum practices, and automation testing tools are preferred. Expertise in the Banking & Financial Services domain is also desirable, along with excellent mentoring, leadership, and presentation skills.
