About the role

As an Onboarding Manager for Rippling Spend, you will set the bar for operational excellence within our Sales organization by developing and executing strategies to both set up and expand customers effectively. We believe strongly in our value proposition of aligning incentives with our customers and you will bring it to life by cultivating strong relationships with C-Level executives and key decision makers. You will have the opportunity to help build Rippling's onboarding organization and define the post sales strategy that fuels our growth!

What You Will Do

  • Set up and customize new customer accounts for Rippling Spend, handling implementations that require a working knowledge of accounting and general ledger concepts
  • Execute successful launches of the Rippling Spend platform and drive full adoption of the tool
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with new and existing customers, ensuring their needs are met and account health is tracked
  • Develop deep, multi-threaded relationships with key decision-makers within your accounts
  • Own retention, expansion, and overall growth across your book of business
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Support and Risk teams to provide informed recommendations that enhance the customer experience
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to drive efficiencies throughout the account lifecycle

What you will need

  • 2+ years in Sales/Sales Development, Customer Success, Account Management, Project Management, or Implementations, with experience advising clients and driving revenue expansion
  • Experience engaging with financial decision-makers (Owners/CEOs, CFO, Controller, Director of Finance) at companies with up to 50 employees
  • Strong oral, written, and presentation skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships
  • Ability to understand diverse business requirements across industries and translate them into a compelling vision for customers
  • High emotional intelligence, coachability, and a genuine passion for delighting clients
  • Self-starter mentality with the energy and initiative to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • 2+ years managing multiple SMB customers while implementing or administering expense or corporate card programs
