SRE (Site Reliability Engineer)

As a talented Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) at Talent Worx, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our technology team by ensuring the reliability, performance, and availability of our applications and services. Your responsibilities will encompass a combination of software engineering and systems operations to drive improvements in customer experiences and operational efficiency. Your key responsibilities will include monitoring system health, developing automation tools for tasks and infrastructure management, implementing and overseeing CI/CD pipelines for consistent deployment processes, collaborating with development teams to design scalable software architectures, swiftly troubleshooting production issues, creating detailed documentation for infrastructure setup and operational procedures, engaging in capacity planning, continuous performance improvements, participating in on-call rotations, and responding to incidents to maintain high system reliability. To excel in this role, you are required to have at least 8 years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps, or related position, hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, proficiency in coding/scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Go, familiarity with container tools and orchestration such as Docker and Kubernetes, knowledge of configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef, a strong understanding of monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack, excellent problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset. Preferred skills for this role include experience with microservices architectures and API development, knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices, expertise in security best practices for cloud applications, and relevant certifications in cloud or site reliability engineering.
