SRE Lead

As an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with over 10 years of experience, you will be entrusted with leading a dedicated team of 20 SRE professionals across 3 distinct PODs. Your primary focus will be to ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of GRC technology solutions within our organization. You will play a crucial role in fostering a culture of excellence in observability, monitoring, and automation to enhance system performance and operational efficiency. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks including team leadership, client interaction, observability and monitoring tool implementation, production support, reliability engineering, and automation promotion. By leveraging tools such as Splunk, Elasticsearch, Prometheus, and Grafana, you will empower the team to gain real-time insights into system performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, your expertise in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker, as well as proficiency in programming languages like Java, Golang, or JavaScript will be essential in executing these responsibilities effectively. Your role will involve engaging with clients on a regular basis to manage daily tasks, risks, and mitigation plans, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction and adherence to service level agreements. Furthermore, you will lead efforts in incident management, SLA compliance, error budgeting, chaos engineering, disaster recovery planning, and automation to streamline workflows and optimize incident response times. To excel in this position, you must possess excellent communication skills, coupled with a strong background in leadership, particularly in multinational corporations. Your ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and drive DevOps practices will be instrumental in achieving our organizational objectives.
