SRE Engineer | 5-12 Years | Mumbai & Bangalore

Job Summary

SRE + DBA

Key Responsibilities

Maintain, optimize, and modernize mission-critical database environments
(Postgres/Greenplum).
Provide
consultation and support
to application development teams on database design, implementation, and monitoring.
Manage
database software installation, patch upgrades, and new setups
while ensuring system stability.
Implement
performance tuning, troubleshooting, query optimization, and disaster recovery solutions
.
Automate operational tasks using
Ansible, Shell, Perl, or Python scripting
to enhance efficiency.
Provide
24x7 support
, including
rotational weekend on-call support
.
Collaborate with
cross-functional teams
to implement best practices for high availability and geo-redundant database solutions.
Work with
cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)
for database administration and migration initiatives.
Lead documentation, process improvement, and
training for L1 and L2 teams globally
