Job Responsibility:

• Serve as an escalation point for Tier 1\2 engineers in the following capacity:
• Providing mentorship and oversight for technical decisions and troubleshooting efforts
• Higher level troubleshooting of issues pertaining to Linux, Kubernetes, AWS, file systems, and virtualization
• Creation of technical runbooks of common issues/tasks
• Maintain and monitor a hybrid datacenter and cloud infrastructure built to be highly available, including the following:
• An infrastructure including server hardware, Linux and Windows operating systems, Kubernetes, AWS services, file services, backup solutions, and virtualization
• Ensuring systems and services are properly monitored, logging, capacity planning, and reporting
• Automation of system builds and routine maintenance and management processes - using tools such as Ansible and Terraform
• Configuration management of systems to maintain their system integrity consistent with their defined state
• Participate in Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective
• Experience in working with teams ticket queue that requires prioritization and timely handling of a wide-range of requests and trouble-tickets in a 24/5 environment and the necessary escalation to Engineering and Development teams
• Utilize effective project management standards to define requirements, implement, and document
• Assist in the migration of Windows to Linux infrastructure
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation
• Involvement in infrastructure related projects systems

Desired Candidate Profile

• 8+ years of Linux administration experience in an enterprise infrastructure (preferably RHEL/CentOS based)
  • Certifications:Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) Nice to haveRed Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) Nice to have
• CKA Certified
  • Knowledge of infrastructure fundamentals such as networking, authentication, file sharing and other core services• Must have fluency in at least one scripting / coding language such as Shell, Python, Perl or similar• Experience with containerization, configuration management, and orchestration tools• A strong sense of ownership, drive, and urgency
• Good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Highly motivated self-starter with strong attention to detail
