Job Description

SUMMARY

Job Summary

You will own and manage the reliability of large-scale data pipelines and storage platforms. Your goal is to ensure availability, data accuracy, and performance of analytics systems while driving automation and observability.

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain highly available data pipelines in Databricks, Azure Data Factory, or AWS Glue.
  • Automate reliability checks, error handling, and notification systems.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for data resources using Terraform or CloudFormation .
  • Optimize ETL performance and improve recovery mechanisms.
  • Configure and manage data observability tools (Monte Carlo, Bigeye, or custom monitoring).
  • Participate in incident response and root-cause analysis for data system failures.


Requirements

Skills & Tools

  • 3 5 years of experience in data engineering or DevOps for data systems.
  • Strong in Python, SQL, and PySpark.
  • Hands-on with Azure, AWS, or GCP (Data-bricks, Data Lake, Redshift, BigQuery).
  • Familiar with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) for data workflows.
  • Knowledge of data quality validation frameworks and version control (Git).

Eligibility

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain reliability for data workloads in production.
