Sr.Associate - Tax & Compliance (US Tax Accountant)

MYCPEONE, is looking for UK Tax Consultantto deliver high-quality personal and trust tax services. Your primary responsibility will be preparing and submitting client personal tax returns along with managing Trust Tax Returns, CGT Returns, Partnership and Trust Registrations. This is a dynamic opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, eager to grow professionally, and has a passion for client service and tax compliance. You will also be involved in tax planning projects and mentor junior team members to help maintain a high standard of service delivery across the team.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit personal tax returns to HMRC.
• Complete CGT returns (60-day filing requirement).
• Manage PSA / SDLT clearance processes.
• Handle Self-Assessment and Trust Registrations.
• Prepare Trust tax returns and annual trust declarations.
• Support share transfers and share reclassification processes.
• Assist with incorporation and file relevant Companies House documents.
• Prepare tax calculations and overpayment relief claims.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding tax matters, documentation (e.g., SA302s, tax year overviews), and repayments.
• Support the Senior Tax Assistant with tax planning and compliance projects (e.g., Share Restructure Project).
• Supervise and support Tax Trainees, helping with workload planning and professional development.

Qualifications:

• ATT qualified or part-qualified (or willing to work towards qualification).

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Tax role.
• Experience with client communication and supporting junior team members.
• Strong communication skillsboth verbal and writtenwith the ability to explain complex tax matters clearly
