SRAM Design Engineer

As a part of the SRAM design group in Bangalore, you will be responsible for developing various types of SRAMs, Register files, and ROMs in advanced technology nodes like 4nm, 2nm, and beyond. Samsung Foundry, known for pioneering new device technology, provides ample opportunities for circuit designers to create highly competitive IPs. **Role Overview:** - Design highly competitive circuits to meet performance/power specifications requested by customers. - Guide and lead a group of engineers to deliver the SRAM IP within given timelines. - Analyze circuits to identify potential robustness gaps and find solutions to improve design robustness. - Own the responsibility from SPEC to GDS and DK delivery. - Review circuits, robustness reports, and identify potential issues for improvement. - Review layouts and suggest enhancement areas to achieve competitive PPA. - Understand SRAM PPA trade-offs and apply appropriate techniques to meet specifications. - Must effectively communicate across different teams. **Key Responsibilities:** - Master/Bachelor's degree in electronics. - Minimum 10 years of working experience, preferably in Memory design. - Understanding of RC network and finfet fundamentals. - Experience in Custom or Compiler SRAM/ROM development. - Knowledge of process variability and its impact on memory design. - Thorough understanding of SRAM bit cell characteristics (Read current, Standby current, data retention, SNM). - Strong understanding of circuit design fundamentals. - Familiarity with critical path modeling concepts and various types of models (RC, C, Pai, ladder). - Good knowledge of semiconductor physics, including finfet function and parasitics. - Ability to analyze layout and understand LLE effects. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering. - Minimum 10 years of experience in circuit design.
