Job Title: Senior Video Editor – Quality Check (QC) – Movies

About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Video Editor – QC to join our content operations team to oversee and ensure the highest quality of third-party movie content. The ideal candidate must have a strong eye for detail, a solid understanding of editing workflows, and hands-on experience in Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, and After Effects. You will be responsible for performing detailed technical and creative QC of externally sourced content before delivery to publishing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough quality checks (audio, video, subtitles, graphics) of third-party film content.
• Ensure all deliverables meet the platform, broadcast, and internal QC standards.
• Identify and flag issues like frame drops, audio sync problems, color mismatches, and subtitle errors.
• Provide technical and creative feedback to internal team.
• Handle final touch-up edits as needed on FCP, Premiere Pro, or After Effects.
• Coordinate with the post-production, and operations team for re-edits or replacements.
• Maintain detailed QC reports and log sheets for archival and tracking.
• Work across multiple genres and languages of films (preferred but not mandatory).

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3 to 4 years of experience as a Video Editor or QC Editor in film, TV, or OTT.

Proficiency in:

• Final Cut Pro
• Adobe Premiere Pro
• After Effects (preferred)
• Photoshop (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of video formats, codecs, frame rates, resolutions, and audio specs.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail.
• Familiarity with broadcast standards, OTT delivery specs, and regional language content is a plus.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience working with OTT platforms, film aggregators, or broadcast channels.
• Knowledge of subtitle formats, burn-ins, and compliance editing.
