As a
healthcare User Interaction Design professional
, you will collaborate and work with our global team of Siemens Healthineers Design System and support us in qualitative and design improvements and further development. You will be part of a dynamic and diverse global experience design team that is committed to creating a culture of innovation and improving healthcare through the power of design.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

In this role, you will create interaction designs for our design system and drive the overall experience of facilitating dialogues between users and products, systems, or services.
Design micro-interactions that ensure cohesive behaviors within the design system, creating smooth transitions, animations, and feedback loops to enhance the overall user experience.
Optimize interactions to reduce friction, enhance usability, improve efficiency, and clearly document interaction models, design specifications, and behavior patterns for development teams to implement accurately.
Create interactive prototypes and detailed design specifications that define animations, transitions, and expected UI behaviors.
Collaborate with a dedicated team of designers and developers to continuously improve the quality of the Shui design system, expand the component library, and develop sophisticated interaction concepts.
Ensure accessibility in your designs, considering users with different abilities and incorporating features such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, and color contrast.

Your qualifications and experience

Bachelor's or master's degree in user experience design, human-computer interaction, or related fields
A strong portfolio showcasing your Interaction Design craftmanship and problem-solving in a design system context
7+ years of professional experience as UX - Interaction designer, Information architect
Experience in design systems in the field of medical technology would be an advantage
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and we are and extensive knowledge of utilizing variables and tokens to develop design system

Your attributes and skills

Proficient in Interaction design and usability, with a strong foundation in user behaviour and user-cantered design principles
In addition to exceptional interaction design skills, you have extensive experience in the creation and management of complex design systems
Continuously develop and refine interaction design patterns, applying your knowledge across various technologies, including principles of micro-interactions, transitions, and animations
You are highly proficient in Figma, with in-depth expertise in using variables and tokens to build and enhance design systems
