Sr. UI Designer

As a Senior UI Designer at Onething, a global UI UX design company based in Gurgaon, you will play a vital role in bringing to life products that influence how people interact, invest, learn, and live in various industries. You will have the opportunity to lead the visual direction of products for both web and mobile platforms, collaborating closely with UX designers and stakeholders to transform concepts into clean, intuitive, and visually stunning interfaces. In addition to your design responsibilities, you will also take on a mentorship role for junior designers, contributing to raising the overall visual design standards within the team. Your primary responsibilities will include taking ownership of UI design projects from inception to completion, effectively communicating with clients with confidence and empathy, managing multiple design projects efficiently while upholding attention to detail, translating user requirements and business objectives into elegant and scalable interface designs, presenting design decisions with supporting documentation, and providing mentorship and guidance to junior team members to enhance the overall design quality. To excel in this role, you should possess a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience with a robust portfolio showcasing at least 23 live projects, demonstrate experience in mentoring or leading design teams, exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills for both internal and client interactions, showcase proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and similar modern platforms, have a solid grasp of visual hierarchy, typography, color theory, and interaction design principles, and demonstrate the ability to manage feedback constructively and work independently when necessary.
