Sr. UI Automation testing ( Cypress with Javascript/Typescript )- C12- Pune

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Automation Tester to join our dynamic Commodities Technology team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and execution of UI automation test suites. Working collaboratively with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality software. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining automation scripts within established frameworks for UI testing, contributing to test plans, creating test cases for functional and end-to-end testing, executing automated tests, performing preliminary analysis of results, reporting defects, tracking them through the resolution process, assisting with manual testing as needed, and collaborating with cross-functional and global teams (QA, Dev, and Product Teams). To excel in this role, you should have 8-13 years of hands-on experience in QA automation, programming skills in JavaScript/Typescript, experience in any UI automation framework such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright, familiarity with BDD concepts and Cucumber, understanding of the Page Object Model (POM) design pattern, experience using Git for version control, analytical and troubleshooting skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and good verbal and written communication skills. Preferred skills include familiarity with any CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Tekton, Harness, or Kubernetes), knowledge of financial markets domain, and experience with JIRA, Zephyr, and MongoDB.
